If you’re based in the UK, you may have heard of the CBD brand, Bud & Tender. If you haven’t, then it’s time you guys get acquainted.
The first thing that attracted me to the Bud & Tender CBD brand was the fact that their CBD oils have won a list of awards as long as my arm. There’s no doubt that this is a luxury brand with a price tag to match, so I was keen to put their products to the test to see if they’re really as effective as claimed.

Bud & Tender CBD Oil Review
Bud & Tender CBD Oil is a broad-spectrum formula, in order to be compliant with UK regulations. They’ve filtered out all of the intoxicating cannabinoids (THC, CBN, and THCV), but kept all of the rest, meaning it still contains a variety of beneficial cannabinoids, as well as CBD.
Along with a specific concentration of CBD, Bud & Tender’s CBD Oils contain a blend of therapeutic cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids that are known to enhance each other’s effectiveness, in what’s known as the entourage effect.
Bud & Tender offer these broad-spectrum oils in a variety of strengths, including 5%, 10%, 20%, 30%, and 40% CBD concentrations (find out how to work out your CBD dosage here). They also offer sample size bottles, so you can try the product out before committing to a larger 10ml or 30ml size.
We got our hands on some of Bud & Tender’s 10%, 20%, and 40% CBD oils. We have yet to hear back from our 10% oil tester, who was trialling the oil for anxiety, but will update this article as soon as we do.
What our testers had to say
When we sent these products out to be tested, I also sent a feedback form to help our testers complete these Bud & Tender reviews. The form contains prompts such as, “what is your age?”, “what symptoms do you suffer from?”, “what have you heard about CBD?”, “how did it help you?”, and “what didn’t you like about the product?”, to help them write a more informative review.
This is why the responses below may sound more formulaic than they would normally, but the reviews below are from honest, real-life testers, based in the UK, that have no affiliation with the brand and have nothing to gain or lose by submitting a positive or negative response.
Of course, we ask all of our testers to be as honest as possible in their evaluation of the product.
We sent three products out for testing and have only received feedback from two of them so far, but both responses were amazing, so we’re over the moon to recommend this product to anyone wishing to try CBD oil in the UK.
Bud & Tender CBD Oil (40%)
Bud & Tender’s 40% oil is particularly potent, so we sent it to a tester that suffered from a myriad of severe symptoms, as we thought she might benefit most from it.
When we asked for her feedback, this is what she had to say:
“I am 37 years old and I suffer from fibromyalgia, schizoaffective disorder, PTSD, depression, and anxiety. I wanted to try CBD to help with a number of symptoms that I get from day to day. I am trialling Bud & Tender CBD Cannabis oil. (40% 4000mg Cannabidiol 10ml).
I have read a lot about CBD and I am hoping it will help with many different symptoms especially my anxiety and pain levels. I have also heard that it is a natural antipsychotic which would help with my symptoms of schizoaffective disorder.
I used this product once in the morning and once in the evening and sometimes once more if my anxiety was particularly severe. When using this product I almost instantly felt a very calming and relaxing feeling and it tasted great too!
It definitely helped with both my anxiety and pain levels! I noticed that I was sleeping better at night and that I could get around the house easier as the pain wasn’t so bad. It helped the pain in my back and legs especially but all over really. I found it easier to go outside and I found that it helped my paranoia because of the calming effects so I can see how it is known to be a natural antipsychotic.
At the time of trialling this product, I was reducing my antipsychotic and antidepressant medication and I found that taking this CBD product really helped to reduce my withdrawal symptoms.
The only thing I disliked about this product was that I found I ran out of it a bit quicker than I thought I would have, so I will definitely need a bigger bottle next time!
I would 100% recommend this product and especially this particular brand as it really helped me. I had one of the most anxiety-free and pain-free months I’ve had in a long time!”
Bud & Tender CBD Oil (20%)
We sent this oil to a lady that was having trouble sleeping and was suffering from chronic pain. Did you know that lack of sleep can actually increase your experience of pain (read more about it in our CBD and sleep article here)?
Anyway, we really hoped that this CBD oil would help increase her average sleep time and alleviate some of the pain she deals with on a daily basis.
Here’s what she had to say:
“I am 67 years old and I am diagnosed with arthritis and fibromyalgia (which has many symptoms including; anxiety, brain fog and IBS). I have read that CBD may be able to help with a lot of these problems that I suffer with from day to day. I have been trialling Bud & Tender CBD Cannabis oil (20% Cannabidiol) and took the oil once in the morning and once in the evening.
Before trialling this product, I was sleeping only 2-3 hours at night and I started sleeping much better as soon as I started taking it, but after a couple of weeks, I am sleeping through the night. I can’t remember the last time I was able to sleep through the night. I’m thrilled.
It helps soothe the muscular pain and the pain from arthritis that I have throughout my body. It helps relax my neck, back, legs, and shoulders. I suffer terribly with brain fog and I find it improves my focus and clarity by helping me think more clearly. I also find it helps my digestive system and IBS. I usually have high anxiety levels but the CBD has also been making me feel calmer and more relaxed.
I really liked this product and found myself to be a lot more sociable when I was taking it. I would happily recommend it to others, especially to anyone suffering from the same things as me.”
Verdict
If you’re looking for a premium product and are happy to spend a bit more to get the best CBD oil that money can buy in the UK, then Bud & Tender should be your go to brand.
This brand is literally doing everything right, including:
- Conducting thorough third-party testing (to ensure the product is clean, safe, and legal)
- Using all-natural ingredients (no harmful additives or fillers)
- Making a great-tasting oil product (which is more difficult than you might think)
- They even plant a tree for every product sold, which just fills my heart.
The only thing that would better this brand for me would be if they could introduce some sort of low-income, veterans, and disability discount scheme. These discount schemes are very popular over here in the US, allowing wider access to CBD across the board.
