Elixinol CBD oil review
I knew from my research that Elixinol’s CBD oils contain a full spectrum hemp extract. So I was very surprised when I opened up the bottle and tried it, as I found the oil to be much lighter in color than I was expecting. So much so, I had to double check I’d gotten my facts straight!
I was right (of course!) and after a bit of digging I found out the reason that Elixinol hemp oil is a lighter golden color than any other full spectrum oil products out there is due to the extensive filtration the extract undergoes in order to remove unwanted plant materials, while retaining all of the beneficial cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids.
So, if you don’t like the hempy taste of full-spectrum oils, then the filtration process that Elixinol’s CBD oil goes through is a huge deal as it means that the resulting oil will have a much milder taste, making it undetectable in your morning coffee or smoothie.
I personally couldn’t tell you for sure because the CBD oil I tried was flavored with cinnamint.
I’d heard about this cinnamint flavor from reading other Elixinol CBD oil reviews and in all honesty I can’t say that the flavor sounded particularly appealing to me (definitely not one I would have picked given the choice of other flavors) but in actual fact it was delicious!
I took it under my tongue after brushing my teeth in the mornings and the flavors mingled delightfully well, which is handy as I always forget to take my CBD before I brush my teeth (always a problem when I’m testing gummies!).
Depending on your needs, Elixinol produces several different incarnations of their CBD oil, including a Daily Balance blend (with added beta-caryophyllene), Everyday Rapid Reset and Sleep Rapid Rest (which contain liposome technology for better absorption), Everyday THC-Free (pretty self-explanatory), and an extra strength version of the Daily Balance formula. Elixinol Daily Balance review
Elixinol’s Daily Balance formula is available in both CBD oil and capsule format. As I mentioned above, the oil can be natural or cinnamint flavored, but both the oil and capsules are available in two different strengths.
Elixinol’s standard strength CBD oil contains 16mg of CBD per serving or the extra strength offers 33mg per serving. The capsules standard strength is 15mg serving of CBD and their extra strength formula jumps up to a massive 45mg per serving. If this is too much for you, then you can just take two capsules of their standard strength.
I take CBD every morning, often with a few days break in between each product, for my overall health and wellness, as opposed to needing to combat any regular symptoms.
This is a really great product but I can’t help but think it’s slightly wasted on me. Due to the added beta-caryophyllene, Elixinol Daily Balance will be particularly beneficial for people dealing with occasional stress, body discomfort or inflammation after exercise as both CBD and beta-caryophyllene are well-known for helping these issues.

Elixinol Calm Capsules
I usually prefer to take CBD oil (sublingually) when I have bouts of stress due to it being faster-acting, but I ended up finding these capsules really handy for times when I knew I was walking into an anxiety-inducing situation.
I found that they helped me order my thoughts, stay focused, and kept any anxiety and stress that may have crept in, totally at bay. I wondered whether 15mg of CBD would be enough to make a difference, but I found that it was, although I was taking them on top of my usual daily serving size of CBD. If I had forgotten to take my CBD that morning, I’d probably take two.
Having said that though, it would be great if Elixinol could work out how to deliver this formula in an oil too, as I would love to be able to take advantage of more immediate relief.

Elixinol Active Sports Gel review
Of all the products I tried, I have to say that it was the Elixinol sports gel that impressed me the most. It’s just amazing.
I was using it almost daily after working out, rubbing it into my sore muscles. Being a gel instead of a cream, it goes on really light, is very easy to rub in, and melts into your skin quickly. It smells quite strong, but it’s a nice smell of botanicals which I like, so that’s fine.
The gel was great, so I was already impressed with this product, but then one of my close friends injured her knee while dancing, so I reluctantly handed it over (just joking, she’s totally worth it).
She had been using another hemp cream that I’d given her, but Elixinols Hemp Balm was stronger and had the added benefit of arnica and capsaicin, two other powerful anti-inflammatories to compliment the analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties of the CBD.
She was bowled over by it and immediately wanted to order some of her own. I think it’s safe to say that I won’t be getting my Active Sports Gel back…

When I’m testing products for a review like this, I either try the products for myself or I give them to someone who can benefit from them more than me, whether that’s a friend, or a friend of a friend.
I’ve been pretty lucky, so far, in receiving feedback from the testers, but every now and then one will get away from me.
