Visually, the liquid appears to be very clear, consistent, and free of any debris, bubbles, and irregularities. In fact, it looked really clean.
When I opened the bottle, I was met with an energetic burst of citrus aroma. Compared to the many other orange-flavored tinctures I’ve tried (which usually feature that orange peel flavor and taste), Joy Organics’ orange tincture featured a sweet, uplifting aroma that I found to be much more inviting.

- The raw hemp plant is then dried and milled into a coarse powder using the highest quality standards.
- Next, Joy Organics uses a proprietary purification and extraction process using food grade ethanol to create a full-spectrum hemp oil that preserves the plant’s nutrients.
- The oil is then distilled to separate the hemp extract from the ethanol.
- After, the extract undergoes a refining process that removes any unwanted compounds such as wax, chlorophyll, plant pigments and trace amounts of THC. According to their website, Joy Organics using proprietary technology that is capable of delivering a 100% THC-Free extract.

According to the Certificate of Analysis (COA) from ISO-certified Pro Verde Labs, Joy Organics 500mg CBD Tincture was recently tested for cannabinoid potency and pesticides on 1/16/2019 (which is less than 30-days prior to writing our review, which is great).
Based on the results in this report, Joy Organics tincture contains approximately 510 mg of CBD and 5.1 mg of CBDv for a total of approximately 515 mg of cannabinoid content.

When administered sublingually, Joy Organics’ Orange Bliss tincture featured a sweet, tangy orange flavor that wasn’t too strong and didn’t leave that orange-peel aftertaste like some other orange-flavored tinctures. It did leave a slightly oily texture, but it dissipated within a few minutes.
