I made this video to address the student’s question as well as talk about the topic of using CBD for ADD / ADHD.
Whether you have ADD, ADHD, or just simply trouble concentrating, CBD can potentially help you and it is definitely worth a try.
This video was inspired by a question I recently got from a CBD School student.
Can I use CBD for studying?
My interpretation of their question was whether or not CBD could help with focus and concentration.
Many people who have difficulty focusing are using CBD as well as THC and cannabis products to help improve their situation.
Some of these people specifically have diagnosed ADD and find cannabis to be helpful for their schoolwork.
As cannabis affects one person differently than it affects another, your mileage may vary on using CBD for concentration or studying.
CBD is not intoxicating like THC. For this reason, CBD may be a better choice for this application
CBD helps many people with their anxiety
If you are having trouble focusing because of anxiety or racing thoughts, CBD may be just the ticket to help you calm down, without strong side effects, and get you to focus better.
This is why I think CBD is worth a try, especially if you are having trouble concentrating due to anxiety.
Start with a low dose and work your way up as you don’t want to take a dose that would be sedating or make you sleepy.
CBD can help with sleep but that’s not what we are going for here.
There are specific terpenes known to help with focus. The ones to look for in your CBD products are pinene, limonene, and linalool.
Pinene is helpful for increasing focus. Limonene and linalool are helpful for anxiety and depression.
