How to Flavor Cannabis For Vaporizers

One of my favourite things about vaporizers is the ability to taste cleaner and more nuanced flavours that you can’t get from smoking cannabis.

In my years of experience with vaporizers, I’ve learned a few techniques that allow you to create your own aromatic flavours to add another flavour to your vaporized cannabis. This tutorial will show you how to impart a citrus flavour to your marijuana prior to vaporizing. For this project, you will need the following items:
  • A small glass jar (or a CVault)
  • A citrus fruit (lemons, oranges, and limes all work well)
  • Some paper towel
  • A marijuana vaporizer i.e the Flowermate v5.0 Pro

How To Flavor

The first step is to cut up some fresh citrus fruit of your choice. For this guide, I decided to go with a lemon. Although any citrus fruit will do, I prefer to use organic fruit as I feel it has a stronger taste. You don’t need to use the entire fruit, as you only need a small amount of juice.

Next, dip a piece of paper towel into the fruit, in order to soak up some of the juices. Then, spread the juice all over the inside of your glass jar. Leave the jar sit for a moment, and then use another paper towel to soak up all the extra juice. Make sure to really dry out the jar with the paper towel, as having excessive humidity inside the jar will cause your cannabis to get moldy, which you don’t want (dry cannabis works best in vaporizers anyway). When you’re finished, the jar should have a slight citrus smell to it.

Finally, place your cannabis in the jar, seal it up, and let it sit for a day or more (2-3 days is usually best). Afterwards, when you vaporize your cannabis you’ll notice a slight citrus flavour on top of the usual cannabis one. Using this method, you can experiment with different flavours, just make sure to avoid excessive moisture! Btw, check out this guide to the best CBD vape pens UK. You can also use a CVault Stash Case in order to better control humidity (it comes with a 62% humidpak to keep humidity levels stable).

Conclusion

After following these steps you should begin to notice a subtle change. Let me know if you tried this out in the comments below.
