Borneol

Borneol offers many healing components, as well as enhancing the therapeutic effects of certain drugs, including for the brain, or to enhance certain cancer treatments. Native to Borneo, China and Japan, it is now found frequently in southeast Asia, and elsewhere as well. The Camphor Tree, having the highest amount of Borneol in nature, was first introduced in Florida in 1875. Borneol is also found in ginger, mint, mugwort, rosemary, thyme, and other plants. Its distinct menthol or camphor scent is hard to miss.
